After a fight broke out at a Riviera Beach convenience store, two were later shot.
Around 1 a.m., a Riviera Beach convenience store in the 2500 block of Old Dixie Highway became the site of an altercation, which broke up enough that two people involved, a man and a pregnant woman, were able to leave the scene. Once they reached 33rd Street and Old Dixie Highway, someone driving by them opened fire on to the pair.
The two were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach following the incident. Neither suffered potentially fatal injuries, although both were wounded from the drive-by shooting.
Police are still searching for the culprit of the shooting, and have yet to release to the public a description of either the car used in the incident or the individuals driving the car.
