Police recently arrested a West Palm Beach man after responding to reports of shots being fired at the 1300 block of 8th Street. After arriving at the location, police found a man in a vehicle who said that another man had run out of a house on the road and began firing at his car.
Officers spoke with a 25-year old man living at the home. The man admitted to police that he owned a Glock 27 and that he had been convicted on previous felony charges. The man says he shot at the car after arriving home to find it had been broken into.
Police charged the 25-year old with unlawful possession of a firearm because of his previous felony conviction. In addition, the man was charged with aggravated assault and firing a missile into a vehicle.
