An armed robber stole $600 from a convenience store Wednesday afternoon in Pompano Beach, Fla., authorities said. The man, armed with a semi-automatic weapon, struck the Farm Stores drive-through store at about 3 p.m., police said.
The robber reportedly took the money from an employee and ran away from the store. Police searched for the man with dogs and a helicopter but were unsuccessful. The robber was wearing a hat, which police found in a nearby alley, but they still had not captured the suspect.
