A 40-year-old man has been charged with killing his daughter’s 24-year-old girlfriend after a real estate agent and some potential buyers found the body in a foreclosed home in Polk County, Fla., authorities said. An autopsy indicated that she had been killed Tuesday or Wednesday. Police arrested the man Saturday and charged him with first-degree murder.
The man’s 23-year-old daughter had been arrested, and he blamed her girlfriend, authorities said. Reports say they had been dating about three years. He strangled the woman, police said. The man was arrested Thursday, police said, under a warrant for dealing in stolen property, authorities said.
Our hearts go out to all of those involved in the Florida murder.
