An engaged couple was watching TV when a gunman broke into their Lake Worth home last month. Authorities arrested the man Thursday, charging him with home invasion, aggravated assault, grand theft and possession of a gun by a convicted felon. The 40-year-old has a criminal history of burglary, weapons charges and battery, police said.

The man took $350 from the couple, then noticed their engagement rings, authorities said. He demanded the rings from the seven-months-pregnant woman and her fiance. The rings are valued at $8,800.
