Federal prosecutors have brought charges against 41 people in Florida claiming that the individuals were responsible for a mortgage fraud scheme.  The charges come from six separate cases worth over $40 million dollars total. 

Reviewing the transactions investigators found fraudulent activity at nearly every level within the mortgage dealings of those charged.

Investigators have recently looked into the Florida office of R. Allen Stanford,  a financier accused of running a billion dollar business scam.  Investigators found at least 3 bins worth of shredded documents while investigating the offices and  now they are working to piece each of the documents back together from the shreds.

This process could take several months,  but ultimately investigators hope the documents can help prove that R. Allen Stanford knew full well of the illegal and fraudulent nature of his business. Mr. Stanford has claimed his innocence turning himself in recently to the FBI.

The recent law that was passed that made being in a vehicle without a seatbelt a ticket able offense, has had the effect of causing more individuals to be arrested and charged criminally.

Donte Stallworth has been released from jail early after serving nearly 24 out of 30 days of his sentence.  Stallworth did not complete his entire sentenced, and no announcement on the official reason for his early released has been made yet.

Mr. Stallworth walked out of the jail into a vehicle that was waiting for him. He did not step to talk to the reporters who were around asking him questions. 

Mr. Stallworth was sentenced to jail for killing an man while driving drunk after spending most of the night partying in Miami.

A Florida man has been recently indicted by a federal jury in connection with the fraudulent operating of a vending machine business.

The man was previously banned from a 2003 court order that severely limited his ability to start a business venture. 

The man attempted to find individuals to pay him money for the promise of having a vending machine placed and stocked in a high traffic area.  The man told individuals that they could be a part of a profitable business with their investments. 

The man failed to uphold many of his business agreements and promises which led to seven felony counts to be brought against him.
